When starting to adopt DOE in AQbD I noticed that even experienced chromatographers (or should I say especially this group?) often try to take over established routines when setting up their first experiments in Fusion QbD.

Traditional approaches are often transferred one to one into a DOE-Design.

This is espicially true, as Fusion QbD is a DOE software designed in a way, that it can easily be used by any non-statistician and by this a fundamental DOE education is often missing.

One of this aspects is related to the selection of levels and ranges for the study factors included in an experiment.

Let me illustrate this topic with a few slides.
