Many of our customers have missed an option of varying several gradient steps in a single experiment. With Fusion QbD 9.9.2 much more flexibility for pump program variations is now provided.

Please note, one reason, why Fusion QbD newbies want to use gradient steps, is because they are used to that from traditional approaches or other tools, as this always was the primary optimization parameter, or they want to optimize a method, that already has such steps.
However, in a real multivariate experiment, the introduction of such steps should be considered as an exception, as there are many others and more usefull ways for optimization (compare our previous posting on segmented gradients).
