Often some of our users miss an option in Fusion QbD® that allows them to shift the gradient in parallel around the setpoint, as this is the way they want to create a robustness design.

From that request alone, it becomes clear that the Fusion approach is not fully understood.

The request derives from the traditional way of verifying robustness and is not alligned with a modern approach conducted by a multivariate experiment.

First in Fusion QbD robustness is simulated from an optimization design and we therefore do not need a specific robustness design. But let me explain, why the requested option is not offered in Fusion QbD by a short presentation:
